Shiftelio

Shiftelio for Field Teams & Services

Proof of every visit. On one map.

GPS + selfie verified check-ins, a live team map, anti-spoofing, and offline mode for weak networks. GPS is included in every plan, never a paid add-on.

Sound familiar?

  • "I visited the client", but there is no proof anyone was there
  • Competitors charge extra per user per month just for GPS tracking
  • Staff use mock-location apps and fake their position
  • Visits in low-network areas never get recorded
  • You spend evenings calling the team to ask where they were

What field teams get

GPS + selfie proof of visit

Every check-in records location, time, and a selfie: verifiable proof that the visit happened, where it happened.

Live team map

See your whole field team on one map during work hours, with background location tracking tied to their work session.

Anti-spoofing

Mock-location apps, VPNs, and tampered devices are detected and flagged to you immediately.

Offline mode

Punches, coordinates, and selfies are cached on-device in dead zones and sync automatically when any signal returns.

Dynamic work zones

Fixed geofences for sites, or dynamic zones for staff whose territory changes day to day.

Per-shift & monthly payroll

Pay per shift, per day, or monthly. Wages calculate automatically from verified field attendance, overtime included.

Real-time alerts

Late check-ins, suspicious locations, and leave requests reach you on WhatsApp or Telegram instantly.

Runs on any phone

Entry-level Android (6.0+) and any iPhone (iOS 15+), with minimal data usage on the employee's own plan.

What Shiftelio does not do for a field team

We are not a field service management suite. There is no route optimisation, so we will not order tomorrow's stops for you or reroute anyone around traffic. There is no job dispatch or ticket queue, no skills-based assignment, and no automatic reassignment when a job overruns. There is no proof-of-delivery signature capture, no barcode or parcel scanning, no van stock or spare-parts inventory, and no invoicing or payment collection at the customer's door.

What we prove is that a person was at a place at a time, for how long, and what that is worth in wages. If your problem is scheduling the work rather than evidencing it, a dispatch tool is the right purchase, and plenty of teams run one alongside this.

Field business owners ask us

How do I assign tomorrow’s visits to a field executive?

Build the day from the roster: add each customer address as a site, assign the visits to the executive, and they see the list in the app when they start their shift. Each visit is closed with a GPS-verified check-in at that address, so the plan and the record are the same object rather than two lists you reconcile afterwards.

A customer says our engineer never turned up. How do I settle it?

Open that day for that executive. The visit carries the coordinates, the timestamp, the selfie taken at the door, and the time spent on site, so you can answer with a specific fact rather than a recollection. This is the single thing field service businesses use the record for most, and it is why the time spent at each stop matters as much as the pin.

Can I pay travel allowance on the distance actually covered?

Yes, where visit tracking is on. The day’s route gives you the real distance between verified stops instead of a figure typed into a claim form, so travel allowance is calculated from the same record that already proved the visits. It removes the two arguments that TA normally produces: whether the trip happened, and how far it was.

What happens when a visit overruns the end of the shift?

The session stays open until the executive checks out, and the extra time is treated as overtime under whichever rule you have set rather than being silently dropped or silently paid. A field day that finishes late is normal, and the useful behaviour is that it shows up on the day it happened rather than as a surprise in the payroll run.

Can staff check in at a customer site that is not on our list?

Yes, and this is worth configuring deliberately. Emergency and walk-in jobs are a real part of field work, so an ad hoc visit can be recorded with its coordinates and flagged as off-list, which keeps the day complete without quietly accepting any location as an approved site.

How do I handle an executive whose day is spread across two cities?

Sites are independent of each other, so an executive can close visits in more than one city on the same day, and the day totals up as one shift. If you are running several fixed branches rather than customer visits, multi-site attendance is the closer fit, and that page covers the per-site rules in detail.

Crews on sites rather than customer visits, daily-wage and contract labour included, are covered by the labour attendance app for India, and the caching behaviour behind the dead-zone claim above is set out on offline attendance for low-network areas. If your people report to fixed branches instead of moving between customers, multi-site attendance is the closer fit.

Still comparing vendors? We rank the field on the best attendance apps for field staff in India and, for site work, on the best attendance apps for construction in India. Where an executive has no usable phone of their own, see attendance for staff without a smartphone.

Everything above is included from ₹999/year.
